DRL's not turning on?

I just noticed this now but it is broad daylight outside right now and I got out of my car while it was still on and parked and noticed my DRL's were not on. I checked the settings and confirmed they are enabled and that my headlights are set to auto. Do they turn off when parked and only turn on while actually driving?

They will be on if you put it in Drive.
