Whilst you're down there, check the play on the ball joint on the end links, where they bolt onto the bar (and maybe the other ball joints where they bolt to the chassis). I'd be surprised if that was the culprit though. Agree with everyone else that something's just not bolted tight enough.It feels like something is falling off. I’ll put on the old bar to see if it still sound, if it is, it’s Ford’s problem
This would indicate that it has something to do with the anti-roll bar if the rolling motion imparts the sound. The hollowness of the sound would make me want to investigate the frame brackets and bushings first.It is only sound when the vehicle is rocking side to side. If I go directly straight at a speed bump, it would not sound at all.
