Got the 'SRS FAILED DUE LOW DTE' at 7:10a today, car plugged in, and should have already started the 7:15a departure routine. (Nice grammar Ford...)
Then a 'HIGH-VOLTAGE BATTERY WARNING' at 7:48a while my wife was driving to work.
And a 'POWERTRAIN MALFUNCTION / REDUCED POWER', also at 7:48a.

The wife is NOT happy. And when she's not happy, nobody is happy!
Ours is a '21 and just recently went out of warranty by mileage.
She just texted me that the error is still on the dash after leaving work.

This car is bipolar - mechanically very well built, but the software is complete and utter junk!
I have been writing code for a living for 43 years, and this by FAR the worst software I have ever had to deal with! It is bad in the car, on the app, and on the website, a perfect trifecta of FAILURE.

Hopefully this is just another in a long line of bogus error messages.

I will certainly NOT be buying another Ford anytime soon.
I too received the "SRS Failed Due LOW DTE" error @7:35am on 7/20/2023, then received the "Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power" error @4:43pm, then received the Priority Update 23-PU0314-DCM-LAT @8:54pm on my 2021 Mach-E, which has 31K miles on it.

Following back on my experience.

Received 2 Low DTE notifications: 1) 7/19 afternoon when it tried to do a SRS unplugged at ~80% SOC. 2) The next SRS on 7/20 morning, plugged in at 90% SOC.
The next two SRS events (7/20 afternoon unplugged and 7/21 morning plugged in) have gone successfully with no DTE notification.

2021 Premium AWD Extended
Last Vehicle OTA Update: 7/15, 23-PU0314-DCM-LAT
Last FordPass Android Update: 7/15, v4.28.0

I did not receive these Low DTE notifications after the updates on 7/15 until 7/19 when I turned on the FordPass setting to allow SRS unplugged.

See post 28. The message had nothing to do with your updates.

The message has been stopped, there was an error with how it was triggering
So you pumped the DTE into all the cars that had low DTE and that fixed it? haha

I wonder how many people scheduled a dealer visit for this after the official Ford account chimed in....

If it's battery related it's still covered under the Powertrain and Electrical components warranty. So you should be good still unless you're over 100k miles.

We were not having any issues prior, so hopefully it is just another extreme software bug!

We are at 39k miles, and the only 'real' issue so far was the main contactor, which did not stop the car from working, just registered an error and was replaced under warranty. We did not have any windshield or panoramic rood issues, but did the reseal recall anyway. And then had to take it back twice, because they broke a window switch and then later discovered they pinched off the rear washer hose... SMH...
