Here is another helpful app to find additional L2 EVSE's:

www.evmatch.com

EV Match is kind of like an air-b-n-b for EV charging. The EVSE's are on private property and the owners sign up with EV Match to rent out their EVSE's by the hour. I know Plugshare is supposed to have a similar function, but in my area, I found several EVSE's on EV Match that were not listed on Plugshare.

The only disadvantage of EV Match is that you usually have to schedule the charge in advance, so it is harder to find an EVSE at a moment's notice. But if you are planning a trip and you are driving through an area with very few public EVSE's, this app could be a great option.

Nice option if you’re staying long enough somewhere to get a meaningful charge. The rates are very reasonable and in the ballpark of what my home utility charges ( $0.22/ kWh)

Lol, not much in my area. There's couple people putting their 120V outlets up for 16¢/kWh, which isn't going to do a whole lot for me. Who's going to pay to use a 120V outlet?
