Exit car chime is extremely loud

Recently the chimes that play when you turn the car off and exit the car are extremely loud, and I have no idea what caused it to be loud or how to lower that volume. Has this happened to anyone else?

Recently the chimes that play when you turn the car off and exit the car are extremely loud, and I have no idea what caused it to be loud or how to lower that volume. Has this happened to anyone else?

That sort of thing happens to me sometimes when OTA updates are downloading in the background, or just recently did. The tones all get louder, and to me they sound more "80s" like simple computer sounds. Then after the updates and a few days go by things smooth out again.

Its been awhile (over a year) since it has happened though. Did you buy the car used? If you have had it since new you probably would have noticed in the past.

Can you describe the sounds, or record them? The normal shutdown sound should be some extremely soft guitar strumming. I can't remember the last time I even noticed it. I wonder if you're hearing a warning chime (like doo-dee-doo ... doo-dee-doo) or some other thing?

Headlights staying on due to the wonky first gen switch is my first guess based on the limited info.
