I just removed my winter wheels from the car and re-installed the factory ones. I've tried multiple times going through the "learning" process for the pressure sensors, but the car will NOT pick them up!

I've tried at home and thought my winter tires being so close was affecting it, so I drove to a gas station with an air pump and tried there. The learning process simply times out. I can't get the car to recognize the original buns.

Am I missing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No learning process is necessary, simply drive the vehicle.

Yeah you just drive the car and they'll learn automatically.

You might be doing it wrong if you're trying to trigger them with air. If you have to do it manually, you need the TPMS trigger tool (radio frequency trigger).

I had the same issue a 4 weeks ago,.
Called my dealer , he said yes that is corrrext, I should have placed the wheels were they were when I took them of.

Silly, you usually change rear to front and left to right.

Dealer re-learned the sensors at no charge.
Nevertheless on ,y Espace/Kuga, Modeo, Fiesta and Puma I never had that issue. Just adjusting tire pressure save the pressure and that's it.
