Yeah, but the physical max defrost switch is pretty useless all the way over on the left side anyhow. The button is more accessible with the door open and there is the persistent soft button on the screen. I figured since I saw which wires to splice I would do the mod. Much easier now to get my grocery bags out of the back. ??
I completely agree, they messed it up when the removed the foot wave feature.

Heh, I look like I am doing the hokey-pokey dance when I do the foot kick. Every time I do a PaaK reset, the foot kick seems to get better, then a little time passes and the functionality of the kick sensor goes to heck in a handbasket. You are not missing much. ?‍♂?

Now that they have shown they can update the screen, I would like some user-programmable buttons on the main screen. Just two PLEASE trunk and frunk is what I would use all the time.

This is perhaps the only car in 20 years that you couldn't quickly open the truck.
AKA it's 3 screens down from entertainment, which is what is normally running.
Agreed. trunk and frunk buttons don't really need to be there while you're driving but they could easily pop up when parked, kind of like the prompt about motion sensors.

I’m driving a ‘21 GT-PE. The switch isn’t factory. There is discussion on modifying the car here: https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/adding-an-inside-liftgate-power-switch.6560/ ??
I have had my car since March and just checked and I do in fact have the Max Defrost button near the headlight turn knob. I never noticed it before and could have used it a couple if days ago.

the foot wave worked perfectly every time when using a key fob, once I switched to PAAK all it does is increase my need for hip surgery with all the kicking and foot circles I do.
