Howdy,
I feel almost stupid on this, but yesterday we took a road trip. It was a few hours long, but not so long we really needed to stop and charge. However, halfway in, I was asked where there are chargers "just in case". I couldn't figure that out using the cars nav.
We have a Tesla too and on it, there are icons on the map showing you where the nearest charger. You can zoom, scroll, etc to scan around looking for nearby chargers, even when you don't "need" one.
I was able to revert back to the Ford app and it found/listed nearby chargers (before it crashed -ugh), but I tried searching here/googling/reading on how to show chargers in the nav on the Mach-E and couldn't figure it out. I feel dumb because there must be some way to do this, but digging through menus, settings, etc, etc and nothing.
Is showing nearby chargers in the nav (like it shows restaurants) and/or searching for close by one possible in the nav? Or do you have to use your Ford app on the phone?
I have planned a longer trip with the nav and it did suggest charging stops on that one. So it's "in there". But how do you search (visually or generally by proximity) when you just "driving around"?
I generally use ABRP when going longer trips, but there must be "something" available in the car itself (displayed or searches).
Thanks and I apologize if this is a case of "it's right in front of you" selective amnesia
