It was a nice day yesterday so I decided to go on a mini road-trip. Total trip was 425 miles, total EA charge costs was $29.13 (had I done the same trip in my Mazda CX-5 it would have cost $94 in gas). The MME performed great. There were lots of windy roads in one leg so I popped it into unbridled mode and had fun with the curves (so much fun).

The only minor issue I had was late in the trip I started getting the "Drive Mode Unavailable" message. I pulled over, rebooted the car, reset Sync4, and never saw it again. The other issue was with an EA stop, 4 stations, 2 marked unavailable, the other two kept giving me charge faults. I was at 30% battery so I had plenty to go 20 miles to the next one where it charged great. At all the charging stations I stopped at gave me around 105kWh speeds.

There weren't many EVs charging so I had no issues with availability. One station only had a Chevy Bolt, where he told me they had a recall that replaced the battery, and since then he hadn't been able to get that public charger working, two others had an ID.4, the final station had a KIA EV6 (sexy vehicle but not as much as the MME, and smaller). Hilariously while charging at the last station I saw a sleek black vehicle pulling in, my first thought was "Oooo that's nice!" and then I noticed the tail lights and realized it was another MME ? I chatted with him, it was a black premium version of my black GT. He talked about how much he loved his, and how much he wanted to get the GT but was happy with the premium, and had also done a mini road-trip. He had ordered it in 21 and waited over a year to get it.

All in all it was a great day, long day driving, and the MME was comfortable throughout. At the end of the day I wasn't sore or stiff from spending the entire day in the car, which is definitely different than other vehicles I have had. It was fun to drive, handled everything perfectly, and will not be the last road-trip I take! With each trip I take, I get more comfortable with range and BEV life, so the road-trips will grow longer as time goes on.
