We set out to Yosemite fully charged with an estimated 265 miles.
My son and I shared the driving and we definitely drove fast and fun. I needed to stop twice to charge at least 100 miles less than expected.
We drove from the SFV so it’s mostly uphill.
We made it back only stopping once to charge for 24 minutes.
I didn’t get this car to drive it conservatively, but I have to admit I was a little disappointed that it didn’t go further on a charge. Like I said we were driving like banshees L O L.!

Oh yeah, you go over 70, accelerate less than smoothly, you are going to get severe range hits. Anything under 65 degrees, expect another range hit.

You could drive the speed limit or slightly under and get way more range. For me, I’m like you, I drive the car how I want to, which is fast.

Were you able to charge in the park? Hubby and I are considering a Yosemite day trip. (we live in the Central Valley...about 100 miles to Yosemite Valley) Research shows there are a few chargers on the valley floor but not sure if they are 1) open to the public and 2) functioning. :)

I didn’t need to charge in the park we charged at the place we were staying which was 27 miles away but I’m pretty sure it would be open to the public. I had no problems finding charging stations on the way up there, you’re much closer.
