Cool Thanks, I think I'm gonna skip that.All normal service intervals include a tire rotation, cabin air filter check, and coolant and brake fluid level check. The only meaningful item is the tire rotation.
I just do tire rotations in my driveway. I did them every 3K miles when I had Summer UHP tires. I do them every 5K miles now with all-season tires.
There is nothing to skip, because there is no service at 6,000 miles. I suggest you don't skip rotating your tires when they are due.
Your Ford app knows, as well as your manual - downloadable in PDF form from owner.ford.com. Like any vehicle, dealerships want SERVICE REVENUE. What they want never matches up to Ford's recommendations. There is no service at 6,000 miles.
I was under the impression that it is 10,000 miles or 1 year for a service check. Maybe I read it wrong.
In fact, it does say 1 year. Since tires are a mileage thing, not a time thing, the only question would be whether you want them to check fluid levels at a year vs. waiting until 10,000 miles.
