Guess what? They just opened a brand-new V4 supercharger (with a super cool dock) just 15 minutes away from me! It’s probably one of the easiest charging experiences I’ve had with my Mach E. By the way, I recently joined a Tesla membership because we often lose power during the winter. I’ll probably need to charge my car once or twice a month there.

I finally used mine last week and it went flawlessly. It was just a test for 6 minutes because it was 53 cents/kwh and i only charge away when i visit family next state over.

I tested both my adapters last week at a Tesal supercharger. Super easy but so expensive! The adapters are a little difficult to remove from the Tesla end. I will have to work out more I guess.

Last night I pull into tesla V3 station at 38% with 70f temperature. I peaked at 159kW and held over 112kW until I stopped charging at 58%.

We don't have the full Tesla network open to us in the UK, but we do have a lot of V4 chargers in locations that are open to non-tesla cars, however to use them with the Tesla membership we have to use their app. I find them magic with their fast charging & longer cables.

The adapters get easier to insert and take out after a few uses. And the subscription on Tesla's app brings the price of the juice down a fair bit and the subscription is on a monthly basis and easy to cancel.

I got the membership because we lose power a fair amount in the winter so i wanted a decent back up plan other than the sub par chargepoint that are also near my house.

There is one in the north of my state near a large state park that gets a lot of tourists, im hoping Tesla upgrades it for other EVs.

Why not wait to get the membership until your power goes out and you need to use the Supercharger? Seems odd to pay a monthly subscription now if that’s the only reason.

I was curious and wanted to try it out. And October/November we've gotten plenty of storms that knock out power for a few days. I like to be prepared.

Right, but you can try it out without a membership. It’s your money, but just want to make sure you’re aware that you can just wait until you need the membership and then cancel it right after.

I know about the subscription. My husband has a tesla so he gets the cheaper rate. But still, I only pay 15cents at home. The subscription doesn't save me that much. If I were to ever road trip I would sign up temporarily. And take along someone that could pull the adapter off if it's still sticky. But for now we take his car because his range is so much better.

Yeah man, I'm aware of how the membership works.
