Well after waiting since June 13th (when I placed my order) I finally just bought one off the lot. Not the color we wanted, but everything else was what we ordered. Was 620 miles away, so my first drive was a road trip. Went very well. 3 charging stops (1 hrs 49 minutes charging). Didn't seem that long. one stop was for dinner, one we went to the restroom got some snacks and only waited 5 minutes to get to 80% charge and the other we played with the settings on the big screen of the car. Used all EA chargers with no issues. 2 of the sessions (according to my EA account) reached 207 kw peak. Did not use plug and charge just used the app. (Didn't have plug and charge set up yet. Will hopefully try that in a few weeks.) Averaged 2.44 m/kw (based on what the car said was added which is lower than what EA put out due to losses from the charger to the car) Temp was high 47F down to 17F. Ironically about 2 weeks layer my ordered car was scheduled for production the last week of April. Anyway that's my story of my first EV and road trip.
