I am having issues with the ford app key pass that says Bluetooth disconnected. The windows up, down, frunk and trunk are grayed out but the rest of the buttons aren’t. My partners key pass says her Bluetooth is connected. I initially had this all working when I got the car but somewhere I noticed that it kept saying Bluetooth disconnected

any help is appreciated

I’m having the same issues. Did you get this resolved?

Has either of you resolved this issue? I'm having the exact same issue.
I can’t ford customer service and they basically help me do a factory reset. After that everything has been working smoothly since

How was the factory reset process? I'm having the same problem and would rather get the issue resolved than cut bait and only use the fob.

It was fairly easy actually, it took about 10-15mins. If you have multiple keys you will have to add them back but since then I have not had any issues

Having to factory reset is really unacceptable. My Bluetooth is working. My Android Auto is working - via Bluetooth I might add. Audio is working. Android Auto extensions for maps integration is working - again via Bluetooth. But phone as a key is disconnected. Factory reset is a bad option if I'm stranded out there with nothing but my phone. There must be a way to reconnect!

This basically means PaaK is useless crap. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but one day, it WILL leave you stranded. that's beyond awful.

@Ford Motor Company can you help? We must have a way to reconnect a disconnected Phone as a key that doesn't involve a reset. Otherwise we have basically a ticking-time-bomb that will strand us if ever decide to rely on it.

So after 3 or 4 days in which we drove our Mach-e Rally a few times, and had Bluetooth Android Auto working fine, with the battery integration in the map working fine, but NO Phone-as-a-key, despite trying multiple times, out of the blue this afternoon I went out to check on something inside our Explorer ST and the lights on the Mach-e Rally (parked beside it) turned on. Lo and behold Phone-as-a-key just mysteriously started working again...

<sigh>.

Did your Samsung Android get the Jan 2025 security patch recently?
That fixes PAAK on Samsung S21-24

I didn't do any installs during this adventure if that's what you mean. And I'm running a Pixel 9 Pro, not a Samsung.
