Ford Pass - Does it work

Hi Everyone,
I have only had my pre-used Mach E for a few weeks now and have come to the conclusion that most of the Ford Pass app does not work. I have tried setting up departure times in the App and saved them to find they disappear from the app. If I set up departure times in the vehicle thaen they appear in the app later. There are a lot of videos on Youtube talking about Map Finder but that is not available it appears in the latest version of Ford Pass and a number of connectivity choices are locked in the vehicle even though they are selected in the App. It appears that very little works in the current version.

Are you able to start climate control from Fordpass? Does Fordpass show your charging rate or the current location of your car? If those functions are working then I would think the other options should work.

Now this is very weird. Yes I can do the things you mention but setting departure times and saving them did not seem to register in the App. If I went back into the App the check boxes were all empty. I went out to the vehicle and setup a departure time and saved it which then appeared on the App. I tried again in the App and this time it was saved and displayed. The vagaries of Apps!

Mapping and navigation were removed from the FordPass app, so it no longer has that functionality. Departure times and charging schedules ere always hit or miss in the app (probably server-side issues) so almost all settings are better done locally in the car. ?‍?

I agree, trust the car, not the app. The app is like sitting at the roulette table.
