I drove a Prius for 6 years. The display was in the center and can tell you from experience that you’d get used to it pretty quickly. The benefit of not having it is a smaller steering wheel which is very nice. I agree with you on the rest of your points, but do think Highland is an attractive vehicle.

Yeah, Tesla still look like an NPC car, not my thing.

I wish Tesla would add waze. Or Ford for that matter. I can do without Apple carplay if Waze was available.

I have to agree there. I'm not sure it's because they sold so many, and there really aren't any exterior distinctions among the different trims. Or the general lack of color choices. But their design (except for the CT) is pretty non offensive (read: bland and generic).
