Ford Vehicle Tracking Site error

Hello fellow enthusiasts!

Forgive me if this issue was answered someplace else, i searched and didn’t find a solution.

When trying to look up my order on the Ford site: https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/status

It throws an error: “Session has expired, please refresh your page.” I’ve tried clearing cookies, different browsers, waiting a day and still the same message.

Any idea whats going on?

Not sure if it is connected but my wife is the office manager at a Ford dealer and has not been able to get onto the Ford site for a couple days. Obviously some kind of issue.

Whenever I have issues with the shop.ford.com site, I use the shop.ford.ca site which gives me the response

Back out and go back in again. It happened to me several times over the last few days, but ultimately I was able to get in. I am using a MAC with Safari browser.

the site is very wonky, but others have reported that Firefox with private tabs has worked... I've found that although Edge Canary doesn't work, Edge production InPrivate or with a Guest profile does work. I think that some of the privacy protection stuff might be making the site unhappy.

you can also try the unofficial ordertrack.app site, but the owner of the site has been having some trouble in the past day or two so it is not a safe bet right now.

System states my order number is invalid, but that is the 8-digit order number from Ford.
Surprisingly, Ford order numbers are actually only four characters in length. You can get your order number from your dealership.

Surprisingly, Ford order numbers are actually only four characters in length. You can get your order number from your dealership.
Thanks much. I had to search through a lot of emails from my dealer to find the 4-digit number. 'Fun facts to know and use': The Order ID is 8 digits, provided by Ford with the order specs and VIN. The Order Number is 4 digits, provided from my local dealer. Go figure.
