FordPass app shows different battery level than car itself

I noted that my ford pass app shows different level of battery than the car itself.
Like today app is showing 56% while the car itself shows 49%.

FordPass is not up to acceptable standards.

FordPass doesn't update constantly. Even when I hit refresh, it still shows a 4 or 6 hour old status, or longer.

Yesterday, we never went anywhere. My phone was down to 20% in the evening, and 52% of the battery was FordPass. Since my dealer has given us a 2nd fob, I will be disabling PAAK on both phones.

FordPass is a hot mess. It’s always been (at least where the Mach-E is concerned) a hot mess. It’ll always be a hot mess. They need to make a separate app for all the Ford family Electric Vehicles. We dont need to be reminded about oil changes. We need a better way to manage all our charging accounts, information about charging (speed, amount, etc).

@Ford Motor Company please talk to someone about getting EV’s a separate app that actually makes sense for us.

Does your app still get the charging, plugged in not charging, completed charging pop up info at the bottom of the app when plugged in? That no longer displays on my app. I also can not send a charging schedule from the phone (long lasting donut and then error no response from fordpass). When it is setup in the car it no longer sync's the phone either. Looks like I have no tunnel through Ford for charging at this stage (only thing I get is securialert notifications). Paak and carplay working OK I hope charging details are on the list and it is not a permanent condition. It was nice to have the charge to 100% override tap on your phone.

Same here. Just tried to change my charging level from 95% to 90%, "Sorry, FordPass isn't responding".

We're getting a JuiceBox charger next Tuesday, and I plan on setting IT as I want to charge (90%, and 11PM - 7AM to get an incentive from my utility) and not relying on FordPass for anything. I'll be disabling the PAAK feature as I now have 2 fobs.

Doesnt show the info anymore. It showed only the first time after setting up. But the problem is that it shows different battery levels even when fordpass is refreshed.
I just dont understand which level i should go by in the event i am going for 200 mile drive

Probably not the only one, but you’re part of a relatively small group if you’ve not had any issues with FordPass.

I have never seen perfect before. You still get info during the car charging and plugged in? You still get the override charge to 100% tap in FordPass? You can still modify your charging schedule in FordPass and the car syncs?

It is part of phone as a key when it actually installs is not nesscessary how I view it. You don’t need FP.

I had this issue occur last week too. It actually made a difference for me as I was driving 60 miles roundtrip on the freeway and ended up cutting it much closer than I expected because my MME was actually at a lower charge than what FordPass told me before I left. Not sure what the issue is, maybe the prior trip didn’t register in FordPass?

Don’t know if this has occurred before because my driving is usually pretty local so I never really pay close attention to battery charge.
