Fordpass blank

Opened Fordpass last night and was given a login screen. I haven't had to log into it for the three years I've been using it that I can remember. I'm sure I did the first time I used it but never since. Anyway, after logging it I just get a blank screen with the Vehicle and Service tabs at the bottom. If I swipe down to refresh I get a spinning wheel and it says updating but never stops. I've stopped the app and restarted. Uninstalled the app and reloaded and rebooted the phone but even after the reload, it had me log in and went right back to the blank screen. Any ideas?

hmm. i've gotten kicked out and had to re-login about 3 times in 2.5 years now. last night i did have the app "blank out" after switching cars, but i force quit the app and restarted it and it started working fine again.

have you tried this morning? maybe ford had some server problems?

Still blank today. Just uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled. Asks me to login the first time its opened which I do and then I just get the blank screen with the two tabs at the bottom. I'll try and call Ford support later and see if they can help out with it.

i do wonder if something is going on with their backend because just now i got a "ford pass unavailable" overlay in the app but it only lasted a couple of seconds. i'm not sure i've ever seen that before.

I called them and they told me they weren't having issues but couldn't fix my app. Just told me I needed to update my android to version 16 which has only been out for a couple of days and hasn't been released to my phone yet so I can't imagine that is really the problem. I'll give it a few days and see if it resolves itself.

edit: I just installed Fordpass on my wife's phone and it works just fine on there.

shoot so it is a problem with your phone then - not a fun place to be.

they have got to be having problems. my wife just used her PAAK to start the mache and i got an email from ford saying that suspicious activity was detected and i should log in and change my password. not doing that until she gets home in case her phone stops working as PAAK.

Could be. I removed my phone from the car and reinstalled the app again. When I readded it I got that same message about suspicious activity on my account. Didn't make me change my password, just sent me a code to my email to verify it was me. Reconnected my phone and app but the Fordpass app is still just blank for me.
