I've seen that thousands of people are dealing with the stuck updates, but is anyone else getting a message every. single. day. on fordpass saying they have to park their car to update?

"one of the amazing things about your 2021 Mustang Mach-E is that it receives Ford Power-Up software updates. (when the interns send it to your car) Currently, you're scheduled for one of these updates at 2:00 AM Thursday (but not really, because your car doesn't actually have the update, this is just your phone thinking you do). If that's not convenient, you can easily reschedule from inside your Mustang Mach-E (no you can't, because the car says there is no update). Your vehicle must be turned off during this update, and it will be unavailable, which means you may not be able to lock, unlock or enter it.

It goes on with a bunch of other worthless crap, but again, Ford just taunts me with these stupid messages DAILY at 7:00 AM. 2:00 AM comes around and nothing happens. The car has no idea there is an update.

Yes. I have received this notification every day since May 20th.
Since there didn't seem to be anything OTA coming down to me, I finally hooked up FDRS again last night to see what was pending for my VIN.
I installed the 3 modules from my download list (BCM, HVAC, Telematics), and my FDRS list is now empty.

Today -- received the same "update" message from FordPass. OTA does package the updates a little differently than FDRS, but I am definitely fully up to date right now and don't need this notice any more times.

Thanks. It sounds like I have the same problem that the majority of owners have, just haven't seen anyone really mention these stupid notifications.

I really don't want to invest in all the equipment to do these on my own. Maybe I can find someone in the Chicagoland area and just pay them lol.

Have yours been the last 3 days?
Pretty much. Got one over the weekend for a power up for Monday night. Then Monday for a power up for Wednesday and finally one this morning for a power up scheduled for Thursday.

No power ups happened so far

You simply haven't powered up enough yet. 3 more weeks of these notifications should get you powered up sufficiently to download the 3mb update to your car.

Did you make sure there was enough paper in the on-board fax machine? That's how they're delivered, via fax, then the pages are scanned in. No paper, no OTA! ;)
