So I was looking into chargers for Florida (while traveling in the future), and the FPL site told me to text to a number "EV". That gave me a link that opens the Chargepoint app and has me put in my license plate and zipcode... Then they have to "approve".

I can't find any info about what this is all about. FPL has their own app, what's the deal with ChargePoint's app?

I tried to call the number it gives, and they had absolutely no clue.

I think most if not all are ChargePoint, some are labeled that way and some are labeled FBL. You can use FPL app to access but seems slight difference in actually using them

That's what I wondered. I found nothing on the FPL that explained this, nor why they wanted me to text them and get a link that loads a page in the ChargePoint app to put in info. Very strange.
