My mistake, I see you live in Sonora. I am in Plumes County. 63 miles northeast of Chico
Hey Fred, so below is a photo of the Rally front springs. You can clearly see the part number on the spring RK9Z-5310-A. However what you are really looking for is the manufacturing tag which is the smaller tag on the spring. At the end of the manufacturing number is a suffix (three letters) and they must end in "ABC". That way you know it is the Rally spring for sure. Just for info, the rear springs suffix ends in "ABD" Is this what your springs are tagged?

Isn't the rear of the car at least 1 1/2" higher than the front right now since you had the rears installed and not the fronts? If so I bet it looks kind of strange.

I have friends in Chico that I visit from time to time. Takes me 3 hours to get there so probably 4 hours for you to come here. Not sure that's worth it for a one hour job to replace those front springs. However I can also set up an alignment appointment to have done while you are here also so you would be all set on your drive home.

Thanks Mark. I have done a little more research and this morning I measured the springs and by just looking at them by the naked eye, one spring is bigger in diameter than the other one. Both springs have the same part number. So, one spring, the smaller one I guess, is missed labeled. I guess the tech grabbed one of the springs from my cargo area and it was the smaller one. Probably didn't think of looking at the other spring. Photo included. The online company that you use has the springs in stock, with at least a 7-day delivery. They have to get them from another warehouse. I also have to talk to the Ford Deanship in Petaluma regarding the springs. I bought them their because I used to work there.

Yes I’d say a very big difference and for sure the wrong spring. I guess you need just one more instead of two. Although I would measure the larger one and make sure it’s the same dimensions as I listed in that table.

Any updates? I ran into a similar issue myself.

They sent Fred the wrong springs twice. He finally got the correct springs and I installed them. If anyone else wants to make sure they got the correct Rally springs, the manufacturing number on the white tag on the front springs ends with the suffix "ABC" and the rear springs ends with "ABD".
