I've got my windhield tinted using 3M Crystalline 70.

the shop that did my front windows told me many of the police vehicles are done with 3m Crystalline 90, it rejects 34% of the solar heat and is not noticeably dark

On my Fusion, I have an “optically clear” UV blocking tint on the front windows. The shop that did the install said it’s about a 97-98% light transmission film. I live in a town that will bust you for every mechanical violation under the sun because the cops have nothing to do.
