Frozen Public Charging App

For whatever reason, the app froze following a successful charge. Anybody have this experience and how was it resolved. I tried a reset, but it was not successful. Thanks

Public Charging / Charge Assist is a server app, i.e. it runs via the Ford servers. If you rebooted Sync and that didn't work, there is no other option that I can think of.

I wouldn't.

Reset to them means Factory Reset. Sync reset you hold down the volume and right seek buttons and it reboots. One loses all settings, one does not.

I can live with a factory reset if it is necessary for a fix. Resetting is a small price to pay.

Further information, no reset was done. Instead their analysis indicated that there is an issue with the filtering mechanism . They worked on it. They will test drive the car tomorrow. The dealer in Montreal is excellent as well the dealer in Ottawa who sold me the car.

The app seems to have fixed itself. Nobody knows how.
