Frunk NACS Adapter Holder

My friend's brother-in-law who also happens to own an MME as well as a 3D-printer whipped this up the other day....a bracket to hold the NACS adapter in the frunk...

Works great on both his Ford adapter and my Lectron Vortex!

IIRC, there was a separator to organize the space that hooked into those.

I was wrong.

They are discussed here.

They are for the Ford Integrated Tether System, and the use in this thread is essentially the kind of thing they are intended for.

I don't recommend it. It's too loose and I had to wedge something behind the adapter to prevent it from banging around. I would be interested in knowing how well other models work.

I got excited about this holder and sent it to the printer. Then I check the Frunk on my 23 GTPE and the notches are not there

I use the built in holder in the rear cargo compartment on the left side. The box fits perfectly ?

Interesting. I don't want my adapter in the back, as a long distance trip in our MME likely means there is luggage back there (and I might not remember to pull it out). Right now, it's in the shipping box in the frunk.

That said, is anyone concerned about failure of the latch since it looks like this mount is really hanging the adapter that it is being held in place by the latching mechanism? Over time, bumps, vibrations, etc., would you be concerned about premature failure of that latch?
