2024 (and up) GTs come standard with 600 lbs/ft of torque. The performance upgrade is a paid option that increases that to 700 lbs/ft. ??Sorry, going off topic…
What is ‘Performance Upgrade Enabled’? I’m not sure I need more performance, but it is always welcome.
You could extend the cable from the emergency release in the frunk into the cabin and fix some nice button to it while Ford scratches their heads. So I got my lovely new keys today, but the frunk button doesn't work on MY21 car, which makes it useless, as who wants to have to open the passenger door and pull the lever!!!
The technician raised it with Ford who gave him a whole load of things to try and at no point said that it wouldn't work on a MY21 car, so he is investigating further for me. I wondered if anyone else with a MY21 car had received keys and had a working frunk release.
The solenoid is obviously fitted as the emergency release uses it, but the software module doesn't appear to be. I assume it might be related to the Sync issues Ford had with pre-22 cars, which is why it is missing from the main screen - but why would they issue a CSP for MY21 cars if the bloody thing still doesn't work!!! We just get a pretty key.
So I'm back to square one - is there really no way to open the frunk on a UK MY21 car apart from teh stupid lever?!
Spacey mentioned it before but did your car get the 6.14.0 update? So I got my lovely new keys today, but the frunk button doesn't work on MY21 car, which makes it useless, as who wants to have to open the passenger door and pull the lever!!!

HiyaHa ha, that does look suspiciously like the right thing!!!
Thanks, I’ll pass it onto the garage and see what they say
Thanks, that would certainly make sense and even if it doesn’t I’d at least have another way of opening it.Hiya
I noticed after 6.14 the icon for opening the frunk appeared on the screen next to the icon for opening the rear hatch so I've assumed (rightly or wrongly) that this enables the Mustang keyfob opening.
I believe your dealer should have updated your vehicle to enable the keys to open the frunk as part of the key replacement service. My dealer, People’s Ford Bootle, certainly did. I didn’t even have to ask them.So I got my lovely new keys today, but the frunk button doesn't work on MY21 car, which makes it useless, as who wants to have to open the passenger door and pull the lever!!!

He did try, for about 2 hours and with help from the central Ford technicians sending him instructions, but couldn’t work it out.I believe your dealer should have updated your vehicle to enable the keys to open the frunk as part of the key replacement service.
