Attention artistic types- I've volunteered to join the Trunk or Treat shindig at the kids' school. Of course, I'll be doing Frunk or Treat instead. My current plan is to hang styrofoam teeth from the hood and put some on the edge of the frunk bay, with some red tongue-looking fabric lining the inside of the tub and the underside of the hood (if I can make it stick). I'm also thinking of hanging a small jack-o-lantern from the hoop on the hood, variably a scary uvula or reminiscent of an angler fish (sort of my inspiration).
There's general approval of the plan, though the peanut gallery had some ideas- one thought a cave would be good (which is true), and the other thought I should do a monster mouth in the frunk and a monster butt out the back (mostly because she wanted to say "butt" and "poop"). I though the cave would be hard to pull off effectively, and while I totally love the in-and-out aspect of the butt, it's a Catholic elementary school, so maybe not...
So, peanut gallery, any other good ideas? Primary design consideration is that I can gather and construct by Friday afternoon. Well, that, and "Catholic elementary school" so keep that in mind. You know who you are!
