Full Screen Car Play - OS Versions?

I see some of us have full screen CarPlay, where it expands to a more vertical look. I do not yet, I’ve tried a few things to make it work and no luck yet.

For those that have Full Screen CarPlay - what rev software does your car have? Mine are listed below.

I curreny have *1.7.1 for my MachE* and *21174 rev 168 for Sync*. I’m curious if there is a module that needs to be updated as well to enable full screen.

If this has been posted, please link for me as I’ve searched and nothing comes up unless it’s buried in a other thread and I just didn’t see it in my results.

This will presumably come with with whatever OTA gives us blue cruise. The July and later builds have full screen CarPlay and they are running a newer version than the rest of us.

Small point of clarification, the OTA number is not a version number. It’s just a way to keep track of the updates. So the post July builds do not have an OTA number because they have never received one.

I kinda screwed myself by using a dev beta version of iOS, but luckily my vehicle hasn't seen the dealer yet (no response to two service requests)

I'd just love the day where I didn't have to debate a 3rd party box to watch Netflix on the screen while charging. That's one place Tesla is killing Ford and continues to. Releasing notes is hopefully a proof of concept of how apps can be delivered and not a vision of the type of features to come.

I don't want to play tic-tac-toe, I want to watch some sub-par UK crime drama while charging.

I also have sync 21174 rev 168 - and no fullscreen.
