Getting my Autel EVSE to work with Alexa.

I have Alexa running in my house and I added the Autel EVSE to Alexa but I cant get it to work. If I ask Alexa to ask Autel how many miles I added this month? Alexa replies "Sorry I dont know that". I tried calling Autel but they aren't really sure I guess not allot of people use Alexa.

Network: I have one flat network with everything on the same wireless network I also only have one access point.
Setup: On the Autel app I have Alexa linked.
In the Alexa app I have the EVSE named Autel. The Alexa app tells me its connected Via: Autel

Should I be calling the Autel by some other name? On my IRobot Roomba vacuum I renamed it Rosie but I still have to say "Alexa tell Roomba to vacuum everywhere" and Alexa replies "OK I will tell Roise to vacuum everywhere"

I was just looking at the notes on the Autel Charge skill.
I believe it's expecting:
"Alexa, ask Autel Charge how many miles I added this month?"

The reviews on Alexa mirror your issue. Unfortunately, only Autel or Amazon can assist as the skill doesn’t appear to work correctly. This isn’t a Mach E related issue, so this probably isn’t the best forum to get help on this.

Hmm. It was a guess. Sorry about that.
I have a couple of Echo devices that I use for clocks, to rotate through pictures, see Ring Cameras, etc. and have the Autel Charge skill installed, but I don't really use Alexa for voice commands, so I have never tried it.
Maybe I'll try it out later.

I have echo devices all over the place controlling all kinds of stuff. The trick is finding the correct way to ask the question.

I will keep trying to get it to work if I can't no big deal.

In the autel app, you can request for a chat from cs, they are pretty knowledgeable and helpful, I have the autel evse and had a few questions in the past and they were helpful however I don't have alexa..

I have called autel other times and they have always been very helpful on today's call the only question they asked was "is Alexa and the evse on the same network " she did open a support ticket and sauf they will get back to me.

I got the included email reply from Autel not sure what they mean. Are they saying that its not working yet? On the app it shows that the Autel with Amazon is Linked or so it says.
