Got my NACS adaptor today and first expereince for charging

Just realized that my adapter, originally promised in June, has not yet arrived. Where to check on that?

Adapter status still shows up at the home page for my Ford login even though I got my adapter a month ago.

Yes, I received mine about 3 weeks ago, but I was recently notified that these adapters could be problematic. Ford stated that a replacement adapter will be sent out soon

It's amazing how many times this has to be restated. June shipments are at issue, not what you received 3 weeks ago.

my NACS arrived a couple days ago.... haven't tried it out yet.

I take long road trips only a few times a year, so I don't have any membership, and have allowed my "connected services" to lapse since I don't want to pay for a subscription to stuff I literally never use.

If I want to just pay as I go with the very occasional L3 charge at various chargers on various networks (now including Tesla), I can just use a credit card at the machine, or do I need to load the tesla charge app into my phone and set up an account there as well as all the others I have used last trip ?

i think Tesla V4 charging station might allow you to use tap on credit card, but definitely not V3 which is the most charging station type. i will try to use Ford app to activate charger next time I stop by nearby super charger. but I do have tesla app and have the payment infor linked to. i do not have membership because i barely use fast charging (just for experimental purpose , lol) .

Got mine too. I'm here in SoCal and does not seem like Tesla drivers are receiving 'Stang strangers so comfy. Got lots of looks. A few came up to ask "are you a new EV driver?" once I pulled into a stall and then shocked when I pulled out the adapter and plugged right in.

Are Tesla drivers aware that we will be invading??

Where else (other than SoCal) are Telsa stations charging .75/kWh?
