Today, my salesman sent us our production date, week of 9/27/21, hopefully she’ll be with us for Christmas. Very happy right now.

We ordered ours on 5/22/21 and was accepted by our dealership and Ford on 6/2

Only got a email for our order number, our dealership texted me our vin.
you need both to track your cars progress.

That's good to hear. I ordered mine on 5/26 and was hoping to at least get a production date soon.

I ordered my Mach e Premium on 6/13/2021. I just received a scheduled for production date 9/26/2021.
So it's taking around 44-45 days from order to scheduled for production, for a Premium AWD extended range version

This thread prompted me to check the Ford website. My production week is 9/26/21. Order placed on 6/20/21.

My order is for a Dark Matter Grey Premium Extended AWD.

Congrats Everyone. I ordered mine 5/11 and it’s been nothing but crickets from Ford. My Dealer has been great, but Ford is trash. I cancelled my Lightning order because I’ve lost almost all faith in this train wreck of a process. I may cancel mine soon. I ordered a GT PE, Grabber Blue and all options.

With all the info. available I understood the wait for a Production date could be 60-90 days. Ford also didn’t state any time intervals for updates in the FAQs I read. Frustrating for some, expected for others I suppose. Your cancellation is someone’s good fortune so it works out.

Congrats! We Ordered our Space White/Space Grey Prem. 4X on 5/21/21 and got the Production date email from Ford on 6/24/21, lucky I guess. Salesman texted VIN and order # within 2 hours. Build week of 8/22/21. We optioned the all weather mats and the Summer tires for $250.

Curious as to what brand/model the tires are because no one seems to know for certain yet. I have some ideas based on Tire Rack search info. But I guess we’ll find out soon enough.

The timeline of your order shows nothing you understood holds merit. This should be an orderly process and it’s not. That’s the cause of my and many other people’s frustration.

Ok, sure. It’s not fair, it’s not FCFS order, it’s not transparent, I get it. But, Ford faqs don’t specify periodic updates of any sort. My salesman said it could be 60-90 days or 3 weeks before Prod date email from Ford, no idea. I got lucky but I was fully prepared to wait until at least late August to get a date. So cancel if you wish. I get it.
