GPS lost after update

After recently getting an update to 2.1.0, my GPS is completely off. A bit of a pain leaving at 4:45 am to go to the airport and the map can’t figure out where I-4 is! The dealer is going to hook me up to a machine next week to redo an update. The map was accurate a couple of days ago. This affects both the onboard map and Apple Map. Figure out after getting to the airport that Waze would work, so used that to aid in getting home. Has anyone had this happen?

In the meantime, take the frunk apart and disconnect the 12v battery for 15 minutes. Reconnect and see if that helps.

That happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I used Waze for the rest of the day and everything was fine the next morning. It just needed a day off.

You're likely wasting your time going to the dealer. Wait a day or so, and it may be functional again.

I have no knowledge of Apple Map, but GoogleMap uses the phone's GPS, not the vehicle's.... If I used Android Auto, it would display the GoogleMap on the large screen and work fine.

When this happened, I just did a soft SYNC reboot with the volume down and right media button. All went back to normal
