GPS Showing Wrong Location

Oops! Just had a bit more time to TS myself, (with all the holiday activities... Sheesh!), and I found something on Google search that just fixed my AA s/w predicament... IT WORKs now! Yeehah!

I just needed to remove all data and updates on my AA, and GS on phone, than try to reconnect and setup my AA again to the Ford s/w and it is now working. Thank God...

But, why did the Ford Customer Relation rep Maria, not find this for me, but went thru all the Master Reset and etc.?? Then after that, suggested that I go to the dealer and have them TS it, which they probably thought it was my end, and did not want to tell me that? I am wondering?

Hey Jake, so did you get a Maria from Florida Ford customer relations? As she did the same thing with me... lol. Got me to do a Master reset, (which I was hesitating to do...?), but did it anyways, along with getting in/out of the car?? None of this worked, but now if you look at my latest PS on my thread to Ford, I was able to figure out via Google, LOL. Wow, I must be getting tired during this holiday season? As, I shoulda did this google search myself, and tried more on the phone side, rather than calling Ford CR... (I guess too much goin on...) Thanks Jake for the reply...

my GPS was broken for 6 months but i could always still connect android auto and use google maps, i never got the message you did. i tried all the resets including master reset, i had called ford and they made me do a weird rain dance of getting in and out of the car etc, nothing fixed it.

that said they fixed it this month, it was broken hardware (a bit surprising as it's all solid state...) and now i'm up and running again

haha it was a woman but it was 2 months ago so i don't remember her name. and yes she had me do the whole thing where you get out of the car hahaha. i felt like an idiot (and it turns out i was one because that wasn't the issue).

i can't find your PS where is that?

Sorry, I might have just replied back to the member named Ford. 'official Ford Motor Co.', as I wanted to update the actual solution to my particular problem... And just explained my specific found fix.
