You want the GTPE. You made this post so people could possibly talk you out of it because of the money. If you have the means, get it. You won't be disappointed. Pure fun to drive and the suspension is not even close. If you want to have the best, there's a price.

If you don't need the extra range, then get the GTPE especially if you can buy it at MSRP. I have a GT, but I still consider replacing with GTPE just for the suspension.
As for the extra cost, you will partially get it back when you sell the car. So it is not that more expensive after all. If you assume a 40% deappreciation in 3 years, then the 13k difference is actually 5.2k if you sell it after 3 years. In my opinion that is a small price to pay to upgrade to a GTPE.
