Having to set up PAAK again after FordPass updated? (version 4.16.0)

So apparently I got version 4.16.0 sometime earlier today or late yesterday.

I take my key with me whenever I go out anyway so I didn't notice anything but someone on Twitter mentioned how they had to do that so I decided to check and sure enough... had to set up PAAK again. Pretty annoying and I hope this doesn't become a regular thing every time there's an update.

It also made me delete my "old phone" (read: the same exact phone) before setting it up again. Which now makes me concerned about how reliable something like the backup password would be after something like this. Again, not something I regularly use. But definitely a nice added feature for peace of mind in case I ever lose my key and/or my phone is dead or something.

Anyone else have this happen today?

4.16.0 on IOS ... no issues at all. Works perfectly as usual.

It’s a glitch in this version. Just force quit the app and relaunch it, it will be there again. No need to re-setup.

I’m sorry. There was a whole thread for the new app update where people mentioned that, but it seems to have disappeared. @Administrator do you know where it went?

I only use PAAK and I’m out of town. Just went out to the car and went to open the frunk in the app and saw it say setup PAAK. Slight moment of panic. Forced closed app, reopened, everything fine. ?

I do have the door code and password so not a huge issue. But didn’t think of that right away. ?
