Heated Steering Wheel

Just got the car yesterday and started using the heated steering wheel. It doesn’t seem to get hot - just mildly warm.

Is this something that I should be concerned about? Is the heated dependent on temperature set for the HVAC

I think it's more weather related the colder it gets the hotter the steering wheel gets. Mine gets very warm when it's cold out.

another random question - would appreciate the help if you know. For the front camera washer - is there a setting I need to enable for it to work?

Not 100% sure but I think when you squirt the windshield it squirts there as well. No setting that I am aware of. I hope this is accurate but if not someone will chime in with the correct information.

steering wheel temp adjusts with the drivers seat heater level.
and on high its pretty darned warm.

you have to activate the front windshield washer for at least 2-3 seconds and the front camera washer will spray. If there's any air in the lines though it could take a couple extra seconds.

I tried that and nothing. Does the level of fluid in the reservoir make a difference?

i would say its possible it could make a difference but unlikely if you're getting plenty of washer spray on the windshield and rear window.
