Well that is a story in its self. Back in 1994 I worked in the USSteel HQ building in Pittsburgh. Came in at 6 am with temps hitting -22 deg f. Water was everwhere flooding the entire acre floor. Evacuation initiated for early workers. Fire trucks came in checking where water was flowing. Wow it was crazy. We were directed to a facilty close by to continue to perform work as secondary plans came into play. The state of art world building had hollow tubes 48 inches wide 60 floors long in chambers for fire protection. It had water mixed with antifreeze. It was found out later that it had a mixture up to -10 deg. Minus 22 is a record that may never be broken.I’m guessing you don’t spend much time at -10F.
