Have less than a 1000 miles on our mach e gt perf and couple of nights had meetings in town and it wasn't very comfortable going in after warming in garage and even less coming home after warming some outside. The other night it was -6 F which isn't that cold, can get much worse. Had a pretty good wind and tried every setting I could think of but still had cold air coming out of the vents or along the side windows depending on auto or picking the vents or the floor. I'm sure it wasn't much over 50 in the car. Called dealer and have appointment to check out. Next day was 4 degrees warmer and not very sunny but there wasn't much wind and it stayed very comfortable and turned down the settings dramatically. Does the glass roof do that much or what is going on?

Mach-e does great in the cold, from my experience. Sounds like something is wrong with your unit. You’re doing the right thing taking it in.

Glad to hear that, thanks. Something must not be right, but have always been comfortable during the daytime but night is another story

Had it at 74 then salesman had recommended hi so went there no difference. Tried the recirculate button but that didn't help, if put just to the vents seemed to help a little but then windshield started to fog. Tried different fan levels but the cold air was overwhelming.

Ha, Southern California boy here . . . I had to laugh . . . " The other night it was -6 F which isn't that cold . . .". Wow, out here is gets to 50 degrees outside and we're freezing! I think my MME GTPE will be just fine when I get it, the heater shouldn't need to work that hard. ?

You could have a defective heater, it's been reported to have been replaced by several forum members to solve poor heat issues.

Yup, Electric heater is most likely defective. I find that Fan 3 or Fan 4 can heat cabin when it’s that cold. If you go to hi it will overrun the coil and give you cooler air. I think the link above is a good one to read. Good luck and keep us posted.

We've never had a problem getting the car up to temp initially, and it usually stays in range for use just using Auto 1-2-3. But once in a while on a road trip drive, it suddenly starts blowing cooler air. Not cold air, but definitely a few degrees cooler, enough to be noticeable. And seemingly randomly, well into the drive.

My guess is that when on Auto, the system is kicking over from the resistance heater to only drawing from battery/motor coolant when it detects that it's 'close enough'. I think I've read that's the way it's designed, to minimize use of e-heat when it's not needed.

3FMTK4SX2MME04571 Juettner Motors, Alexandria, MN. Thank you for your response, also is there any way to adjust the magneride suspension. Just would have liked to soften it up some once in a while. Thank you
There is not, other than driving in Whisper, the "softest" mode. Its been said that a 3rd party is already working on a controller for the magneride suspension so the user can tune it how they'd like.
