ok, If it was causing you problems with the radio off then I would find someone with an oscilloscope to look at the output of the amplifier with the radio off. Ford service probably has one. If there is a
signal there then they can work on the cause.

Take your noise app and see if another MME [[or a few--your dealer might help] readings are similar under the same conditions, i.e, the radio is off/sound down. If no low hum present in the others, then you can discuss with the dealer how this is an issue with your car.

Thanks guys, good suggestions. After a day of quite a bit of driving with the amp disconnected it’s the first time in 2 months, since I got the car, that my ears feel pretty much normal.
