Forget my answer you are talking in the Animal hood, but the same , not functional and remember underneath the hood you have a whole plastic things inside, so many changes to turn functional what will be hard to do and no one will buy

Got it, was thinking the carbon animal hood was a total replacement for the entire hood itself, didn’t realize it’s something you add on top of what is already there. My mistake!

Would be kinda neat though if someone came up with a total hood replacement that improved temperature control for the frunk, but like you said, there probably wouldn’t be a market large enough to justify developing something like that.

anyway, the suggestions you are looking for, are they more geared towards appearance, or are you considering branching out into something more functional? Cause I’m thinking more functional, but if the topic is more on appearance, then I probably have to think harder about what to add to an already beautiful design!

Exactly, the car is so beautiful that dont need nothing but ... we love mods , it´s a culture. Animal is a replacement not a add on, functional vents are not easy , need to change the interior of the frunk, In sema 2021 shelby made a functional vent hood, the result? was near zero, the master engineer that did this car is my friend, and he thought he was making the new european mach-e gt, they didn´t call the guy this time, i believe that the new shelby hood can improove something in cooling but not sure after all private info i have accessed. Sorry mistakes

Totally get what you’re saying about the difficulty of designing a functional hood that people would buy - was just curiosity on my end.

So you didn´t got it, what was my mistake that make you think that?

Not all all, I think it’s just that the fit was so good it didn’t look like something you add on top of the existing hood!

Maybe I’m an old guy, but description says “installation: replacement”. I got no idea what the proper terminology would be, so don’t ask me - I’m just starting to dabble with modding myself after so long, and I got no clue what I’m doing!

Are you talking about the AOSK one?
I’m not a big fan of that one because it doesn’t have a stock look. In my opinion, to do it right the entire window trim needs to be replaced with one that doesn’t have the hole for the handle.

Ok noted and the only factory solution, we will think on it. You know Ali why some products don´t be made? Because the investment and ... how many will buy, but good idea.

Not sure if is from Aosk for just one reason , i never paid atention to that product because i like the handles i like so much that i have in forged, but now that you are talking i am seeing my car without it , maybe i do the same.
P.s. if is from my friend Zac, for sure is a good product, off course if is the complete trim will look much more factory, no doubts about that.

I would like to see a non-racer front lip for the non-gt's. I hit mine on a parking curb and the options out there are a $650 Airdesign one, $500 Ford stock part, or $150 racer versions from Asok. Just needs to be calm with very little flare.

How about a combined GT and pony emblem for the back of GT models. I like my GT, but also like the pony on the non-GT's. Maybe a pony emblem with GT superimposed. A lighted version would be really nice.
