I've searched the forum but haven't read anything about it. Why doesn't Ford Navigation recognize our home as a charging "station" during navigation? More than once I was driving home with enough battery to get there (but at 10% or so), but navigation would route out of my way to a Level 2 charging station, stay there for 1+ hour and then drive home (where I have a Level 2 charger installed). Even if I'm on my street, it would still want me to drive away and charge before going home. I wish there was more integration between our charge settings and Ford Nav.

Really need this. Similar we go to my parents 2 hrs away often, I installed a level 2 there, but since Maine the car bugs me to drive 40min away to charge

I turned off the option to automatically add chargers to my route. So it never does that for me.

That is a total pain and makes no sense that it would not recognize it. C'mon Ford you can do better

Might as well use Google Maps then ?
Ha. Yeah I tried that too. Google Maps keeps freezing up which was causing me miss turns. That’s why I like the onboard navigation.

So before a road-trip I’ll save the charging locations into the onboard navigation and navigate to them one at a time.

Google Maps doesn’t work very good for me either. I got used to Apple Maps, EV routing works pretty good. Still missing some features like being able to check details of every charging station. But I guess they will get there.

When Ford releases Intelligent Range the built in navigation will get better.

I have intelligent range, EA, it's a bit better, but not great, still need option to indicate charger at destination
