How do I play music off USB?

The two ports where the wireless charging mat are USB and usb-c . I have the USB drive plugged into USB port from my old car with music stored on it. How do I play it? Can't find anywhere how to access the drive??

Gee thanks. There is no Audio button on the features bar to press. I read the manual.

The audio button will only appear when you plug something into the USB socket. Perhaps whatever you're plugging in isn't compatible? My car recognises an old Sony Walkman MP3 player and various USB sticks.

I will try something else. The stick works in every other car I have put it in.....thanks for the replies

I've used the same USB memory stick in my Fords for 10 years. In my Mach E I just hit the Sync button and say USB. It starts playing the music and the menu on screen gives all the controls for shuffle, etc. It did add a card for my USB as well.

If that doesn't work for you then perhaps the format may not be recognized by the system.

MP3 and WMA are the only file formats supported. The drive needs to be Fat32.

I figured it out thanks. Also, it plays FLAC files just fine...the manual is terrible

I think I got it. Doesn't show up anywhere and I had to use the steering wheel voice control to search for music. It then showed up on my large screen. Now to try flac.

One the screen, press the icon in the middle of the screen, not far left. It will open up a different page that lists the usb. It says that NOWHERE in the manual.
