How do I turn on the lights in the trunk?

How do I turn on the lights in the trunk? They do not come on when opening at night.

If the interior light don’t come on when you open the door, press the button on the overhead console to disable dark mode.

I always thought mine was on, but just not in the trunk when I open it. Is there a light back there??

There is a light on the passenger side by the 12V port, and on the inside of the liftgate. Both should come on when opened unless disabled.
