I’m curious how to interpret the “How is my driving?” section on this screen. Do I assume the higher the bar, the more efficiently I drove from an energy perspectiv?

:) - I wish this were true, but my driving has been pretty conservative.

Those aren't very good scores. On a trip mine usually shows close to 100% for acceleration and deceleration, speed is the only bar that gets a little low depending on how fast I drive (usually about 75 MPH). You should be able to do over 50% easily unless you are driving it really hard.

I personally don’t care how my driving is. Doesn’t matter for me like other people here on the forum.

I drive however I want…

I drive to have fun and enjoy my Mach!

I’m retired and don’t have a commute plus I charge from my solar panels and power wall.

I understand why people do care about it though.

Thanks. I am surprised by how low these scores are. I am by no means an aggressive driver. This particular trip included mostly freeway with a little city driving and about 10% on country roads including on and off two small ferries.

I’ve not looked at this graph much yet so I’ll keep an eye on it. maybe this trip was an anomaly.

Except for the retired thing and the batteries, I’m in the same boat. I bought the Hi-Po version to have fun with. Unfortunately it’s 5 seconds or less at a time. Ford needs to fix that. ??

Like you, I’m not that worried about this. I was more curious on how they even come up with these figures. For fun, I will try driving what I think is less efficiently and then more efficiently just to see what difference it makes.

But yes, let’s just enjoy the car. :)

Interesting that Ford built a functional decimal in the km/kWh setting, but it rounds the kWh/100 km to the next full number :like:

I'm curious if the people who burn through tires in 15k miles regularly score low on these metrics. I also get 100% scoring regularly and have very low wear on my tires, to the point I'm shocked people can burn through them so quickly. I do have a "low power" Premium and I'm pretty confident the tire burners are all GTPE owners. :)

I'm not judging anyone here, I burn through tires on my Focus RS thanks to the drift mode. I just think you can correlate your tire costs with these ratings. If you don't care about range/tire budget then don't even load up this screen.

That‘s a good point.

I have noticed my scores vary dramatically depending on where I’m driving. I get great scores if I start the car and drive locally or on the highway. I often ride a couple of ferries which often includes sitting still (motor on), inching forward, stopping, driving off and then in a line of cars to a second ferry where the start/stop begins again. I see horrible scores in this process so perhaps that’s what gave me poor scores.

I’m only 6,000 km in on my tires so far, so hard to say how their longevity will be for me.
