I passed a silver GT in Maryland up near Baltimore around the beginning of the month but that’s the only other GT besides mine that I’ve seen in person. We were doing 75 so I don’t know if it was a PE or not

Brought my car in for ceramic coating, and there was another GTPE sitting in the parking lot.

First weekend after I got my RR 4XP, I was out cruising and doing errands. As I was approaching an intersection, I could see the cross traffic left turn lanes were draining, so I needed to hustle to the line and do a quick CA stop if I was going to make a right hand turn ahead of the cross traffic onslaught. As I'm doing my courtesy brake check, I can see the three rows of cars start to roll, so I don't have time to assess, but out of the corner of my eye, i notice the car in the rightmost lane and headed for my rear quarter panel, had an unmistakeable blunted nose and galloping pony, which left only one option, pedal to the floor and let the die fall where the may. Alas, the drag strip was shortened due to a red light, but it was clear as I backed off, the E-Pony who had spotted me 50 feet was closing hard. As we rolled to the line, with them in the left turn lane, and the rest of the traffic just now leaving the intersection 300 yards behind, I looked over and caught my first glimpse of an iconic silver GT. Didn't notice if it was a PE, but I suspect it was, as it certainly was closing me down as I backed off. With tinted windows neither of us could see each other, so no thumbs up or waves ensued, and after the light turned green that was the last I saw of it. Given where they turned, I suspect they may be local, so maybe I'll get another gander some day soon.

I have seen 1 GT so far. I believe it was a GT because it was orange.

I started out on a road trip to VT yesterday and in the very next town to mine on I84 in Farmington, CT, I saw a white MME being loaded onto a flatbed. I hope all worked out okay for that owner, but I texted my wife, “Yikes!”
