I have been surprised at how many pilots are on this forum. Something about the Mache apparently strikes a common nerve with those of us that like to be in the sky.
So lets see how many there are of us.

As a kid I always wanted to be a pilot, but alas it didn't work out. I got as far as being accepted into Air Force ROTC, but my asthma would disqualify me from flying. Since they compelled my brother-in-law to be a dental technician (something he was very uninterested in), I decided I would skip the air force and work part time to pay my own way through college

Loved the 747, it’s the only airplane I miss flying. I flew the 727 for 8+ years. 7 of those years were spent climbing.

DC-8 of various flavors (-62, -71, -73), DC-10 and MD-11.

Disliked the DC-8, great freighter though for its era. So stable it was hard to fly.

A pilot I flew with a few times was married and divorced at least 7 times, a couple of them he married twice.
He had a bumper sticker that stated “Honk If You Have Been Married To Bobby”.

The last I heard of him he was living out of his car.

The two pilots that were running the company's "cockpit resource management" program (how to work and play well with others and not crash the airplane because you didn't use the program) for a while had 13 marriages between them.

True story.
