Last week we took a test drive for about an hour, swapped drivers, played, tried Unbridled (well, my wife wouldn't)... we're sold. We're pacing orders for 2 Premiums, 88k, different colors.

Question: better to order at the dealer or on-line?
On-line says 24 weeks.... I have the feeling that's optimistic. Any guesses?

If you're sure you know which dealer you want to use, just order online. You may want to check into ADM/X plan/Options/etc before you choose a dealer.

Order online so you can track the progress otherwise you will have to rely on your dealer to tell you when the build date/vin#/etc is happening.
Wait, this the first I'm hearing of having to rely on the dealership for updates. Shouldn't you still get emails from Ford?

I'm wondering... if it takes long enough, will we be getting 2022 model year cars?

Occasionally, but if you order at the dealer the status page won’t show updates. It will just say to contact your dealer. I’d always recommend ordering online for the most access to updates.
