I am so irritated with this stupid car right now. FordPass app will not work. I’ve tried uninstalling the app and still could not get the app to update to the car. So, I tried a master reset in the car and tried to reconnect it. Let me tell you how much that screwed everything up. I can not add the car back to my fordpass app or connect the car to Wi-Fi. Now I got an email from ford saying if I don’t add my vehicle back to fordpass I will lose me 500 KWH of free charging and my blue cruise subscription. I swear if I lose those because I can’t connect my car I’m going to be pissed. Is there anything else I can try to get this POS to work? Beyond that, the sync system is complete trash. It is so slow and damn near inoperable because of this.

No, I’ve been using this phone for a couple months now. I can’t set up paak because the vehicle can’t be set up to my ford account anymore.

No, it says I need to do it from the app to connect it. The most annoying part about this is a don’t have remote start now. Getting our first snowfall and 20° weather and now I have no start because I can’t use the app the ford was too cheap to put the button on the key fob

If you cannot access your Ford account at all from your computer it sounds like the problem lies there. Until that problem is fixed there is no account for the app to link to.

oh I miss read your post. I can access my ford account online just fine. It just says in order to add the car I need to go to the app

Is there another phone in the house that you can try installing FP to and trying to add the car? May not work but worth a try.

The master reset should not be one of the first things attempted to restore phone / FordPass connectivity. We’ve seen occasional server outages on ford’s side and master resetting the car will not solve that. It’s counterintuitive because in other technology settings, starting fresh is usually a good approach.

I put my new rides (yet to be delivered) vin in my Vehicle Dashboard on Ford.com website and it just appeared in my phone app when I logged on.

Does your Dashboard look like this.

If not I would delete the Vin out of your Ford.com dashboard, put it back in and then try loading the app.
