I carefully planned my trip to Scotland around the car's range and recharging points.
Before I left I realised I may have made a mistake and that was shown to be the case.
My requirement for a pee stop occurs before my need to charge. So as long as the range of the car safely exceeds my requirement for a pee stop, then I don't care about range.
However I do care about being able to find pee stops on my route with chargers, that are fast, that work, that work with a credit card, and that are available, or at worst if you have to queue then bays for queuing.

Basically in the UK currently this is a fantasy wish.

At the M6 toll with only one CCS working properly, one working slow and one not working I met a chap in a 2 week old Peugeot EV. He was waiting as I was on the slow charger and the other one was also occupied. He was already taking of getting rid of the car and getting a hybrid because he could not reliably get charges for his works journeys.

I have asked Zap-Map to allow route stops to be planned around time and be taken to "rest" stops where a charge, a pee, food and drink can be obtained.
