Should I fill it out? Their incentive is to be placed into a drawing for $100,000. A $100 Amazon gift card would have been a stronger incentive.

Side note: This is the first time JD Power has ever contacted me even though their headquarters is only about 5 miles from my house.

Side note 2: I went to UCLA with a friend who eventually got his masters in Statistics from Stanford and ended up as a statistician at JD Power. After about 5 years he left them to flip houses with his brother. He's been flipping houses ever since, making a lot more money then he ever could as a statistician.

I do these sorrs of surveys in case it helps improve my experiences with new products or services... I do surveys for restaurants and utility providers for the same reason.

I got an MME purchase follow up survey invite from Maritz this morning and plan to fill that out, too.

The best thing to do it fill it out honestly. Don't say what we tell you to say. Don't say what the dealer tells you to say. Say exactly what your experience is. Scales of 1 to 10 mean exactly that, none of this BS 1-9 are failing and only 10 passes crap. They try very hard to condition you to give them a excellent score; but that needs to be product based not marketing based. That's how the survery works, unless it's one of those ulterior motive survey's designed to test some aspect of the customer base. But that wouldn't likely come from JD Power.

Well, that was a disappointment. The entire survey was about the dealer and the buying experience at the dealer.

I always fill out stuff where there's an incentive, I've actually won a few things from random surveys

Yeah I agree they need ot make that change but sadly the dealerships base their bonuses complete on getting all 10s. Getting 9s means no bonuses. It needs to be change as I would put 8 and up as good. Ford bases bonuses to the dealerships on pretty much getting all 10s. Anything less is treated by Ford as a failure as well. It is complete crap and needs to change.

Do fill it out honestly. Getting horrible scores do affect dealer ship. Do not give them 1s unless they earned it but do not give them a 10 unless they earned it as well.

Yep, change is facilitated by data. If both sides continue to play the rigged game we can never get back to a fair game. I LOVE the survey question, "Did XYZ ask you to give a certain score on this survey?". I wonder how often that burns them.

Looks like J.D. Power is asking for a new survey request (got an email from them). This time for the Ford Pass app on your phone. While the survey for the Mach-E went really well with a fairly high approval rating, I kind of doubt the same thing will happen with Ford Pass app.
